Anonymous: i'm a cheerleader too. there's a girl on my team that every time a stunt isn't perfect she corrects the flyer and every time she gets hurt, even if it's just knocked as a stunt comes down she either says something or tries to tell the stunt how to stop hitting her. It really pulls down morale. should I say something? I just want the stunts to go up and her negativity is bringing us down.
well having a bad flyer is no fun and neither is constantly getting hit. she’s probably giving pointers to the flyer so that the stunt improves (especially if the flyer doesn’t have much experience), and there’s nothing wrong with trying to avoid getting hit every time. that’s totally understandable as long as she’s still doing her best to do a good job (as a base, i’m guessing?).
but if you think it’s a really big issue, talk to her in person about your concerns. don’t resort to third parties or messages. personally, i hate when people are childish and don’t have the decency to address me themselves in person!
so i say definitely talk to her. hope that helps!
